Turbo to exhaust manifold bolts to tight!

Ok, I've searched the forum and couldnt really find anything on my situation about turbo to exhaust manifold bolts. Ok out of the 4 bolts there are I got 3 out and 1 is just stuck in there, I was barely turning it and then it just stopped, I feel like I am going to break this bolt. I've tried soaking it with PB blaster and everything, I dont have a torch to heat it up. What should I do to get this off?

Keep going if they break and they do, you can extract them out then use a helicoil to repair it.

Ok I'll try that, I just need to go buy a hollow steel bar to put socket wrench to get more leverage, hopefully it doesnt break.

Eh...good luck with that. I cross-threaded two bolts. Did you have it on the car when you were removing the bolts? If so, did you happen to use anything to keep the turbo up?

I took my car to a shop to get them to drill out the bolts. They pretty much messed it all up and I had to get another hotside.

sounds like its going to snap on you, if you can spray some lube in there, like pb blaster, and tighten and loosen the bolt back and forth to work it in there it might come loose.

if it does snap, like grad said you can either use a helicoil (i personally dont like useing them) or you can drill it out a little larger, and use a tap to cut some new threads, and use a slightly larger bolt. i would invest in some high temp antisieze as well incase you ever need to remove it again.

Do you have a impact gun? Sometimes that helps instead of one steady force with a breaker bar. Also more pb blaster and even if you go to a local hardware shop and get a portable torch, its not as much heat but it'll help. good luck.

As said, work it back and forth as you do with a tap, and if it still doesn't come, try heating the head of the bolt. The heat will travel through the bolt and hopefully break it loose at the bottom.

Thanks guys for the feed back, yah im just going to be patient and just keep spraying pb blaster and twisiting back and forth and then attempt to take it out this weekend

Ok now i got the bolt lose but now the bolt wont unscrew out its like you can keep twisting the screw and it wont move or down supposily. Its probably really stripped or someone but anyone know how i can get this out.

Anyone know how to get out a stripped bolt thats inside? I can twist the bolt but it just keeps twisting and does not want to come out
