I have a 16g on my 1st gen that I want to put on my 2nd gen.
I wanted to know if I can leave the turbo on the exhaust manifold and swap both to my 2nd gen?
Thanks

now why would you want to do that? The 2G manifold flows better than the 1G. Also your going to need a J-pipe, the 1G oil feed line and return line, and the water lines. if your going to go through all that might as well seperate the turbo and mani.

I would definately put the 2g exhaust manifold with the 16g, 2g exhaust manifolds don't crack like the first gens and do a little porting while your at it. You'll be pleased.

Make sure to retain the 2G o2 housing as well and you can use the 2G oil return line but you have to drill it to fit. May be easier to just use the 1G one depending on which is in better shape. It'll be an easy swap if you have a 1G as a donor and have a j-pipe or the correct couplers and piping to make it work with the stock compressor outlet pipe.
