turbo seal

So i was taking off the housing to start on the porting and then i found this. Can i just run some RVT on here or should i just buy a new seal? And where can i get one from?

If it's a T25 compressor housing O-ring, I've got one from my dead T25 that I could just put in an envelope and mail to you. I can't really tell what turbo that is from the picture, but from the size, I'd say it was a T25.

RTV may work, however.

RTV might work, but if it doesn't you will have to take everything back apart again. I'd say get a new seal, esp since MrBoxxx if offering.

Are you porting the compressor housing?

no iam porting the exhaust side i just thought i would pull the compresser off iam thinking about polishing it. And it is a t3/t4 so iam not sure if it would be the same as a t25?
