So I am going to be rebuilding three 14b's very soon so i dedcied to buy two tradergreg kits and one ebay kits and do a review here is what I found different with the two kits.

They both cost me 50 bucks a piece and they both had a few differences.

The differences you can see in the pics Ebay thrust bushing had two oil holes and different thrust indentions then tradergregs kits.
The ebay kit came with two nuts for the turbine shaft one left and right thread. Tradergred only came with one and idk what thread.
Tradergred kit came with more parts and is the larger kits coming with both bushings for the 16g and 14b turbos it also came with new heatshield and a new bolt and nut for the vband clamp ebay kit only came with bushings for the 16g and no heatshield or vband bolt and nut.
Other than that they both look like quaility kits I am curious to see if the thrust plate on the ebay kit with the extra hole will make a difference.

Here are the links for both the kits.

The kit sold by Greg is an OEM replacement with a single oiling hole; the kit you bought on eBay has two oiling holes for better thrust lubrication and a wider thrust collar to better support thrust loads due to high boost or large rotating assemblies.

It's a toss-up....you get the heat shield with Greg's kit, you get the better thrust plate with the eBay kit.

Greg's kit also comes with the longer compressor seal collar for a 14B where the eBay kit does not....so if you're rebuilding a 14B, you may be more inclined to buy Greg's kit which is more complete for your turbo. A 14B generally does not have high thrust loads, and I've yet to see a 14B that developed in/out play due to thrust plate wear without an underlying cause (failing engine clogs the oiling hole in the thrust plate with metal, etc).
