Turbo or BOV sputter?

well everytim i shift...Ie push the clutch in the BOV sounds like it is chokeing or sputtering. could it be the BOV?

Could be the BOV. Easiest thing to do it take the recirc. pipe off and hold your hand over it and rev the motor to make sure the BOV is fluttering and your not getting compressor surge.

Check vacuum lines make sure theyre all connected. Also, does your boost gauge like have spasms when you left off? I had this and it was just a vacuum line that had come apart from the "T" fitting. Also, it has nothing to do with pushing the clutch in.

It sounds like compressor surge, make sure you don't have a boost leak and do u have stock bov or not ?

def sounds like compressor surge, if you have an aftermarket BOV adjust it al the way open and slowly, adjust it in from there, if you have a stock 1g or 2g check all vaccum lines and if you can get ahold of a tester do a boost leak test, good luck

I was reading another thread and i installed bigger IC tubing recently, when I reinstalled the BOV i pushed the metel tube for the vaccum line i jammed it in...so i am goin to try puling it out. Compressor surge? how do i fix that?

you BOV should have some sort of adjustment screw, im not to familiar with HKS, but find the screw and back it all the way out and see if that helps, if that fixes it, slowly, adjust it back in just until you hear the sputtering again and back it out about quarter of a turn, let me know what happens
