Okay, so I feel this is a noob question, thus I posted it here.
Recently a gasket gave out in my exhaust line. I removed my Exhaust manifold to find scorch marks where it had leaked and blown the gasket which was probably the original one. This gasket, specifically, is the one located between the turbo and exhaust manifold.
Anyway, I ordered an overnight from a local parts store and got a package full of every gasket related to the turbo including 2 I can't identify. I have 2 square gaskets that look like they should go in place of the one that gave out on my car, but one is a solid piece and flat, the other is a 3 piece gasket that is very well manufactured... but the hole is not centered. It's off to one side or the other, depending on how you flip it.
What I'm wondering is... what gasket is this? I looks like the stock one, but the hole is not centered? I have the solid gasket that IS centered but, as noted, it is a solid piece.
Just looking to identify this one. It doesn't look to be a bad machine job, it looks perfect...other than the location of the exhaust hole. Any input would be appreciated.
