Graphite turbo to manifold gasket?

I am in the middle of installing a megan O2 housing and downpipe for a 2g GSX on my Evo 3 (car not the turbo). Ended up having to remove the turbo to get the O2 housing off.

My gasket between the turbo and the manifold failed but i cannot find copper sheet or another gasket on island. I did find a sheet of Felpro high temp gasket maker.

P/N is 2498

I refuse to pay $55 shipping on a $12 gasket so i am going to wait for the stealer to get one in eventually. Any reason why this stuff wouldn't last a couple weeks?

As long as it is rated for 1200F or higher it should be fine. I looked up the part number of the gasket sheet you used and it looks like high temp carbon composite gasket which is what I use for for my downpipe and cat back.

yeah it looks similar to some OEM manifold to head gaskets i've seen from Nissan and its the same type my old GTi-R use to have.

So far i have the center ring hole cut out. Gonna start on the bolt holes now so i can hopefully get the turbo back on tomorrow.

Once thats back on i can start welding up the downpipe and exhaust.
