turbo installation

It's not a bolt on affair if that's what your asking. Do you mean turboing a 420a? If so you need to learn to use the search button bro! because that's been beat to death on here and many other forums! Lol and it's not wise to just throw on a used turbo. Your best bet is to get a genuine rebuild kit first and rebuild the turbo before using it again.

Really depends on the condition of the motor. Would do a leak down test and start from there.

If motor checks out ok, can get an SFMU, bigger inj., and slap a turbo on and wait for it to go boom eventually. Obviously more things needed but that's the short list.

I would say (in my own opinion) that turboing a 420a isn't worth the hassle..
allow me to explain: When you take a car that isn't meant for boost and put a turbo on it you are asking for problems and you cut the reliability down significantly. if you spend the extra 500-1000$ and get a GST model or a little more money and get a GSX you will have te reliability of having a car meant for boost from the factory and you can built it up from there as the money comes in.

it all depends on budget, how much time you are willing to put into it and are you okay with the big loss of reliability? if those things align and you want to do it then go for it! do something people can admire and show your work.

Most importantly make it something you will enjoy! but my honest opinion is that it's wayyyyy more cost affective to get a turbo model eclipse (or any vehichle) instead of "slapping" a turbo on a car that isn't meant for it... be prepared to watch the parts fly, especially if you haven't done this before.

Just like turbo-ing a Honda, you can create a really expensive grenade quickly even with a good and well installed kit. Normally aspirated engines were not built to take the extra forces created by boosting. Get a turbo car or engine to begin playing with.
