I just bought at t3 t67 turbo. i had one of those cheap ebay header maniflods with the mitsu flange on it. so i cut it of and put a t3 flange on it. But my turbo will not fit. it hits the block. so will one of those cheap ebay t3 headers work. are they longer than the ones with the mitsu flange on it. And i know the headers are made cheaply. but i re weld it and make it stronger. so i'm not worried about it breaking.

where exactly is it "not fitting" ???

I've heard of people denting the water pipe, but your's might still be hitting something else.

If your current mods listed are what you actualyl have, you are ###### gonna melt da mota, which will be funny at first, but then you're gonna post up again and be like, "ohh noez, metal things shot out of my engine, is it okay?" which sucks.

For real though, you should have a built motor to run a T67 (550whp capable without much problem) and if you have a built motor, you probably shouldn't need to be asking this kind of questions.

However, in the event you still are, I'd call Andre at Pina Motorsports and have him fab some of his badass stuff. The guy can seriously outweld God (well, if God was a welder, I'm sure it'd be close).

To answer your question yeah it should fit with a cheapy manifold , my 56 trim fits with room to spare and I've been running it for a while now with no problems

The thread starter seems to have eBay as his favorite DSM shop so PINA may be out as it would cost more than the turbo and intake he has easily. Oh by the way God created Andre and gave him the welding skills. Poor analogy!

Does this mean Andre will have to give up a rib in order to have a wife?

Hmmm... There are some demanding women out there but it's more likely Andre will have to give up his eBay turbo to find one that will fit his DSM!! Mark

Get a manifold custom made. You probably need spacers, which I had but don't have anymore since I had my manifold made.

Just pick up SBR's cast manny. It will flow just as well, and you won't have to worry about the turbo ripping off the manny like you would with a cheapy turbular manny. Thats just MHO though.

SBR doesn't make a cast manifold with a T3 flange. Turbonetics does...

cool thanks for the help. and no i am not a cheap builder. i just know a welder that can make the cheapy header not break. i figued i would have to have one custom made. And i know i don't have a built engine. but i am in the prosses of it. and my current engine isn't going to see anything crazy. so i won't have to worry about metal chunks flying out of my engine.

Where would one get spacers? I would like to try a Holset turbine on my HX-35/40 but don't think it would fit! Thanks, Mark
