hey i have a question. my buddy has a 96 talon awd auto. now i know that to log you do a 3rd gear pull, starting at 2k and going WOT till 7k, record the log then tune.

but how the hell do you do a 3rd gear pull with a automatic? i was thinking on a 2nd gear pull but then realized that if you put it in 2 and hit the gas itll downshift into 1st(L).

i searched and i am no n00b but just a little curious.

I would say let it downshift and then when it upshifts then start the log. That way you can get a good session of the power band area.

ya you can do that or just log the whole thing like right when you go WOT and when your done you can see where it shifts by looking at the rpms on the logger
