14b with an automatic tranny?

I just bought a used 14b off of an eclipse with 70,000 miles on it, no shaft play,cracks or blade damage according to the seller and in good condition for $50 on eBay. Do I have to install a boost controller when I put this on my car because it has an automatic transmission or is the psi difference not enough to worry about? I did remove the limiter on the boost controller when I got the car.Any advice would be helpful.Thanks

boost is determined by the wastegate spring, right? which means you'll be at 9-12 with the 14b
