Hey, I have a tubular manifold, I BELIEVE it is a punishment racing budget manifold they sold awhile back. Though I am not sure, I bought it used. It's not exactly the prettiest at the moment but I could care less. What I do care about is that it has a tiny air leak near the collector. Now, I have friends with tig welders who could patch it right up. But is that giong to be something worth my time? Or is it likely to open back up? I can't visably see the crack/hole but you can feel it a little bit when you first start the car up and look carefully. Right now I have the stock 2g manifold on my car at the moment until I figure out what to do with my tubular. Is it worth fixing it up and re-installing for another go? I was also going to true my exhaust flanges before re-installing if i choose to do so.

Honestly, your probably better off sticking with your 2g manifold. Especially if this is a street car. Cars have made over 600whp on these.
There's a reason Punishment Racing doesn't sell these anymore, think about it:hmm:

i agree your better off on the 2g if your a street car, the dsm flanged tubular housings i find worthless, if your going to spend that kind of money on a manifold, go T3. otherwise a 2g mani will do.

I wouldn't run that one over a 2g.

If you really want to get a different manifold, get an FP cast manifold.

yeah the FP cast manifold is about the best flowing mani you can get with the dsm flange, i went with the HAFE manifold because it was beefy and cast SS so it will never rust.
