I'm having a REALLY hard time locating a tubular manifold that will work for me ... they are all either t3 flanged, shitty material, or not setup to externally gate off of. I need a manifold that has the mitsubishi flange for an scm61 ( 7cm prefferably ), and is also flanged for a tial 38mm wastegate. If anyone knows of a manifold that would work please let me know ... right now I have some ebay manifold but I'd rather not even install it because I know it will crack sooner or later. Thanks.

Why do you want a tubular manifold if you're going to be using a Mitsubishi flanged turbo? I'd save my money unless you just want it for looks. Just my .02

But yea, DNP makes nice manifolds flanged for T3, T4, or mitsu. www.dnperformance.com

yea dn performance if u have 600 to spend on an exhaust manifold  . theyre out of their mind and so are people paying the cash for them :barf:

Huh? I only paid 350 for my manifold from DNp.

just checked dnps site ... none of those manifolds match ALL of my criteria ... I need it flanged for a 38mm wastegate ... not a 40 since that flange is totally different.

that's the manifold I have bolted on now ... I like the look but I'm afraid it will crack. And it's t3 flanged ... not mitsu. I don't want to use an adapter plate either .. looks too ghetto.

SSAutochrome/probably that one/ will crack. It's been gone over a few times. For the DNP, you could just have a 35/38 mm flange welded and have the 40mm cut if you really want it. I had my manifold cut for my Innovative wg, it's not that expensive if you want a reliable manifold. If you're already paying $600 for a manifold, what's another $50 for welding.

you coulda chopped the flange off, and had someone tig on a 38mm flange. DNP might even make 1 wit 38mm for u, i dunno. But those ssautochrome manifolds are highly known to crack, but some havent had em crack yet. I know honda people always complain.

yea that's what worries me ... I looked on sfps site and they don't even have anything listed for mitsus ... http://www.sfp.net/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=181&cat=Mitsubishi

www.AutoLabOnline.com made my manifold, lifetime warranty, not that you need it though... because it won't crack. SFP Manifolds are junk made out of 16gauge material. I PERSONALLY have seen TWO locally crack.

do you happen to have a pic to show us just so I can see how it came out? How much did they charge and how long did it take to make? From their site it looks like they do good work, but I'd still be interested to see how yours looks.

This is one of his old manifolds, if I'm not mistaken, all his new ones are stainless.

looks pretty decent .... have you ran it yet? Any cracking or problems? Did you notice faster spool? How long did it take them to make it for you?

Try fitting that shit in your 2g    , as if space isnt an issue already in the 2g engine bay.

Like I said, instead of using 16gauge material that SFP, and all the ebay manifolds use that crack, my manifold is made from 8gauge material, whether it be stainless or carbon coated. I can't comment on spool, it was a ground up buildup. Mine took probably 2-3 days actual working time, but you'd have to call the shop to get an estimate on when it could get to your door. He's pretty busy making these right now. 502 266 6646

16g material is fine if you know how to make a manifold, use the right material, and can weld (which are the requirment for any good manifold.). i know several people running sfp manifold and i personally do and never heard of one cracking before. they offer a 3 year warrenty against cracking anyways

Autolab has been making manifolds for 8 years, and the only ones to crack were the original 12 gauge stainless ones he made as a trial run on thinner material. He made 3, and all 3 cracked. 16gauge material is too thin, there is an EVO8 right now with a cracked manifold that was at the AWD Turbo meet at Autolab over the weekend.

eh all this talk about cracking is just too much ... I just ordered the sbr cast manifold, ported, and it will be flanged for the wastegate on the #1 runner. Thanks for all your help tho.

Have you lost your mind? Do you have any clue the kind of time and materials invested into a quality header?? We dont build headers that cost less than 4 figures. The DNP unit is a VERY good header for the price. Im sure if you emailed them they would probibly do one for you with a 38mm flange. I would recommend at least inquiring with them about it. We just made 661 hp and 601 ft lbs with one of their T3 units. Looks very cool now that its been thru heat cycles too. BLING!!

I agree with mirageturbo2liter...

the manifolds autolab makes are VERY nice... I will probably get one from him when it comes time for me to have money to upgrade..

hey genius, show me a friggin dyno sheet of a dsm with the same mods, on the same day on the same gas, at the same psi. one with a ported evo3 or 2g ported exhaust manifold then with the dnp manifold. u gain what maybe 5 whp? is 5whp worth 500- $600 ? i dont think so. i could maybe see if they gave 20 + WHP plus the added factor of quicker spoolup on bigger turbos. but in my opinion people are buying them cause they look good. waste of money if u ask me. why not spend the money on cams or a magnus intake manifold for the same amount of money? and get 30+ wheel HP out of either one of em????????? O WELL WASTE YOUR MONEY AWAY I DONT CARE
