Tsi without a sunroof RARE?

A local guy where I live had a 92 TSi AWD Talon with no sunroof, cloth interior and manual windows!

Unfortunatly he had the car for only a few weeks (back in the late 90's) and an elder woman T-boned him and totalled the car. He held onto it for years and I got a few parts off of it a few years back.

I got the no rear wiper or washer fluid hatch. It was so od to see a TSi AWD with a base model package. Only one I've ever seen like this.

Neither of my 1G TSi's ('92 FWD and '93 AWD) have sunroofs, and both came with EPROM ECU's.

I've owned three 91 TSi's. Two of which had NO sunroof, one does have a factory sunroof. My girlfriend has a 90 TSi with NO sunroof as well. On a side note, my sunroof car came with the original leather bag, the wind deflector, and the original blockoff panel which after reading I see are very hard to come by. Two of my 91's were also fully optioned (leather, ABS, CD, etc.), but still had no sunroof. Most of the 1st gen cars I've ever seen didn't have a factory sunroof.

My 93 TSi FWD has no sunroof, has cloth seats, manual windows and locks, rear wiper, (had) air conditioning. Not that there are many 1Gs around where I live, but I don't think any of them I have seen have had sunroofs, whether they have been Talons or Lasers, only ever seen one 1G Eclipse up here :E

I have two awd 92's and one has sunroof and one does not..Both do not have leather...The gsx has power everything, besides sunroof..

hmm, so it was more of just a random selection of options. there does not seem to be a few preset options. I have a '90 Talon TSi AWD with no sunroof,no leather seats, but i do have electric windows and the theft alarm (which is rather annoying at the moment because my power locks aren't working).

I have a 93 AWD, has a sunroof, original leather bag to hold the sunroof, and the wind deflector. All power and leather. I haven't discovered if it has an alarm yet or not.

No E-prom. Bummer

My tsi awd came with the premium package and had no sunroof but came with an alarm. An aftermarket sunroof was put in later and the alarm doesn't work, somebody f*cked with it

i love seein all the different options you could have had on these cars, my 90 talon tsi awd, no sunroof pretty sure came factory with cloth seats, didnt come with a back seat but have a tan leather back seat and the grey with the red accents for fronts, manual windows, and possesed power locks. they lock at weird times and had to learn the hard way when they do and dont. no alarm tho. my buddys 92 laser has a sunroof, cloth seats, power windows. you will get a shower if it rains tho. it pours through the sunroof

I have a 92 TSi FWD and it has a wierd sunroof that I have never seen before. Its got mesh shading all over it and the handle to open it wierd too. Also it isnt removable like my eclipse was.

^ That's the way the one in the girlfriend's non-turbo FWD '92 Talon is as well. Weird handle, red buttons on each side, not able to be removed easily.

It also leaked like a sieve until I sealed it shut last summer.

In a 2g.. extremely rare. Benifits equal less body roll aswell as those pesky sunroof malfunctions or leaks.

My '91 TSi doesn't have a sunroof. Thank god. Headroom is already at a premium, add a helmet, I'm nearly scraping the ceiling. I'm not that tall either...
