Hey guys i have another lighting problem, i cant get my lights to come on when i open my door? the overhead lights i mean my driver side light works if i push the button but doesnt react when the switch is in the "DOOR" position and my passanger side bulb blew. Anyone know how to change the bulb out of there and the bulbs in the mirrors on the visor. Thanks!

p.s. i dont know much about turbos so if i post a picture if mine think you guys can tell me more about it? I know its not stock becasue he also gave me the stock one.

If all the lights, including the floor lights, don't come on when you open the door, your door switch may need to be replaced. It's a simple affair; uses one bolt to hold it on and pops in and out. A fairly cheap part, if I remember. Buy it from the dealership but install it yourself and save yourself whatever they charge you for labor. To replace the bulbs, you need to carefully pry off the clear plastic lenses with a small flathead screwdriver. There should be slots in the side where you can get the head in between the lens and the mirror housing. Once the plastic lens is off, reach up with your fingers and try to pull the light bulb out. It's just held in by the springy contacts, so it shouldn't take too much effort to extract them. Replace by simply pushing the new bulb into place. Pop the lenses back on. You're done.

The answer to your question about the turbo: Sure. Post a pic and we'll see if we can identify it for you.

i pulled out the door switch but im not sure how to check and see if i need a new one or not. how can i tell if its not working? when i took the visor light caps off there was two fuses neither of which were blown. i think im going to have to get my whole electrical system checked becasue my foglights are also giving me problems. Almost all of my lights are giving me problems.

I had a problem where the lights would sometimes come on when I opened the door, but sometimes not. The door switch was dirty. I unscrewed it and pulled it out, then opened it up and wiped it clean (had dirt on the metal). Put it back together, now the lights come on every time.

I've also burned out the two map lights (by the mirror, driver and passenger side). Just have to get bulbs for it, haven't bothered to see what they are. Might try replacing with LED's.
