trouble shooting a dtc code on my 98 eclipse

i turbo'd my 98 eclipse gs a few months back, and my check engine light is starting to burn a hole in my dash. i did everything right minus the fuel pressure regulator which is being installed next week. i had a diagnostic ran and the dtc code P0420 popped up. saying catalyst efficiency below threshold (bank 1)...any suggestions?
