Yup! Devin did the current tune on the car. I'm not comfortable enough with tuning to optimize the maps. I was able to get the MAF dialed in, and the idle and such, but when it come time for add timing and such... yeah no. LOL! I took it to someone who I knew could do it safely. I will probably be talking to him again in the spring about an additional map for race gas or E85; depending on what route I go.

Thank you for the kind words, its been a long road!

She may take your spot as my favorite 2G, Corey. :p

You know, the fact that this little build could inspire someone really means a lot to me. :) Glad that it can help you keep working on yours! I know this is not some super high-horsepower build, but I appreciate the kind words! :)

On that note, I picked up this little piece on the way to Cleveland this afternoon. My first "show car" piece, I guess you can say. Well, that and I have a fetish for carbon fiber.

It needs work, and I'm ok with that. I plan on fixing it up some. I've even though about painting the Eagle logo in blue on it somewhere. That' s what I like about pieces like this, they are not perfect, had for decent price, and thus provides a canvas for some experimenting!

Yes, it is on my hotel room bed. haha.

Cars come a long way looks great... I got a good laugh out of the ricerownerous comment

110 on the traps you'll be in the 12's easy with some seat time keep up the good work

Winter needs to be over NOW. The amount of ideas that have been swirling through my head has been driving me nuts. I've been toying with the idea of ditching the Mustang and Neon for a Stealth turbo as a new daily. Also got a quote on getting the Talon repainted. (Since I got the new hatch, as well as fenders.... so would be nice to have it all the same shade of blue). Or I even thought about just keeping the Mustang, and getting rid of the Neon in favor for another Talon daily. But depending on the car, I could do both the paint job and a car or just a newer car. So I really don't know what to do. Chances are I'll end up driving the 'stang another year. haha!

I've also been contemplating changing the turbo setup on the car. So was going back and forth with 16g upgrades, 20gs, FP stuff, some sort of Frankenstein turbo.... but then I stumbled across this:

So the car is going FP Green XL. It won't go on right away, as I still would like to see what can be done with the 16g. But its a decent deal, so going to snag it up. (I still have to pay for it, so nothing is set yet.. anyways.)

More of the turbo:

Just read this all the way through for the first time, and I must say, AMAZING build man. Definitely keep up the good work! Reading this really makes me want to go out to the garage and work on mine, but it's too damn cold!! WTF is with this winter storm in spring crap? haha

Can't wait to see what you finally decide on turbo wise. I will definitely check back for progress!

Just read/watched those video. This Tread was really interesting. Josh kept talking about this car, so I decided to finally look it up. Very nice car and sad that car was destroyed, but it was put to good use!

Clean car and I love the blue.

Thanks so much! :)

Glad that it can motivate others! I, too, and waiting patiently for the weather to break so that the giant pile of parts can be installed. I'm such a wuss when it comes to cold weather. That, and the garage is currently occupied.

BTW: The FP Green XL did arrive. I'm still out of town working, so I have not seen it, but was told it is there. So more photos shall come in a few days!

Wow! Really impressive! Great work! Honestly I was about to ditch my gsx to get an Audi S6, but after reading your thread I'm back on track. Thank you! You're such an inspiration. Keep posting your progress.

More than the ever popular holset.... But a good deal. Bought it off a friend, actually. I am excited to see what it will do, so will def. keep you posted!

Got the car out today. Discovered a bad alternator, and thus damaged battery, too. So gotta address that. The alternator has been giving me issues for a few years now; kinda surprised it lasted this long. ha!

Also took another shot of the new turbo:
