Transmission Replacement Questions

So I got a 97 eclipse, 420a motor and my shifter stopped shifting into reverse. Checked out the linkages, bushings, clips etc and came to the conclusion that it's an internal issue with my gear. I will either send out my tranny to be rebuilt, or get a used one (still indecisive). My question is is there any other parts I should replace while I have it down? My clutch, shift fork, and TOB are about two years old so won't be needing that. I will be replacing my main seals, but is there anything else other than that that you guys would recommend? Thanks.

I would suggest seals and maybe bearings if they are worn. Its also not a bad idea to check out all of the synchro's while you you are at it along with the dog teeth on each gear.
