Transmission Noise (Video)

Hey guys, I'm getting a noise coming from the transmission (I'm pretty sure). At first I only heard it in second gear. Then I started hearing it in first. Now I hear it in all gears although second is still the loudest. It's getting louder in time. It's sort of a chugging, clunking noise. I haven't replaced my transmission oil in about two years so could that be it? What are your thoughts (before I take it to a dealer). Thanks.

BTW, the car is a 1999 Eclipse GSX manual.

Theres some Videos on youtube on how to do it, just as a reassurance thing. There should also be some how-to write ups.
Just take it apart, and re-do it.

Well I didn't even make it back home after work. This was only the fourth time I drove it in this condition and only out of necessity but it was one too many. So when I get it towed home I'll take it apart and have a definitive answer on what it was.

Cracked Flywheel was my answer when i had a similar noise.

I have the same rattling/grinding noise while decelerating or coasting, trans shifts perfect, good fluid. Sounds identical to twin disc rattle. Anyone?

Hey guys, I know this is super outdated but I took it to the Mitsubishi dealer and they said something broke in the transmission and it needed replacing. I don't know if they were being totally honest or not but I ended up getting a brand new transmission for it.
