Hey guys,

Wasn’t sure if this was best in the electrical section, or auto trans section, but this area seems to get more responses so I went with here.

But anyway, does anyone know where the wires to the shift solenoids go to on the transmission? I currently have a homemade shift box (similar to forced four box) that’s wired into the stock wiring to the TCU under the dash. I haven’t ran a tcu in a decade or so, and I’m looking to remove all the unnecessary wire to the transmission while I’m wiring up my megasquirt ecu. Basically I want to remove ever trans wire except the two that control the shift solenoids.

Thanks in advance for all the help!

Edit: car is a 1991 talon AWD

I figured it out searching a little more, and figured I would post the answer in case anyone had a similar question and came upon this thread…

There’s two main plugs on the trans, a small square 4 pin looking connector (only has 3 wires coming from it) and a larger rectangle shaped 12 (I think) pin connector. The small square one is the one that has the shift solenoid wires, and the third wire is for line pressure or something like that. I’ll update later with wire colors.
