im sure this has been ask 1000x but what is everyone running for trans fluid in their 5 speed?

1001 times now!

Mitsubishi Diaqueen: MTF 75w-85
Amsoil: 75W-90
Redline: MT-90 (GL4 75w-90) Not 75W-90ns GL-5
Will be the top brands.

Personally i've used redline mt90 and Amsoil, I didn't notice a significant difference in shift quality between the two. more importantly i have yet to experience a transmission failure when using either brand.

Just to clear up any confusion, manual trans fluid is known as gear oil. OEM or Redline MT- 85/90 are by far the MOST common, please for free to check out the links below straight from those who have some strong knowledge about this platform. Additionally, you may want to consider changing the oil in the transfer case and rear diff if you are performing this as maintenance. The oil suggestions for both can also be found in the links provided.
