Just purchased a 90 gst with 5 speed tranny and took it out yesterday for the first time. Put it this way, didnt go to good, it has a new clutch but when i let off the gas and press to accel, it is really jerks hard. any answers to this, let me know. I havent check fluidor much else due to below zero temps and no garage. I also need new boots on axles, due to splitting and drying out.

it really depends on the jerk you are speaking of...the best way to do it is to check the tranny fluid for any shavings of any sort. usually the jerk tat i think you are speaking of is something normal...but i would just reccomend chekcing the tranny fluid

Yea, it could be alot of things. Going from no throttle to hard acceleration is always going to cause a bit of a jerk but otherwise it could be bad motor mounts, poorly running engine, excessive play in anyone of 100 places in the driveline, etc... need more details.
