Tranny shops

Im located in the west suburbs of Chicago and was wondering if anyone knows of good tranny shop? My car doesnt seem to shift into last gear and crusing on the tollway at 65-70 at 3.5rpms or higher concerns me. Also, if i bought and IPT rebuild kit, endclutches, and translab.... will most shops do an install? I have installed all my own mods so far, but I dont have any experience with a/t trannies to do any of it myself.

I never heard of any reputable trans shops in that area, but I'm sure there are. I'm also sure that any shop will install the IPT parts for you, but if anything goes wrong because of improper installation, I don't think IPT would be held reliable.
I can tell you that ATs are the most difficult and in depth piece ever designed for a car. Most of us don't belong poking around the insides of them. I wouldn't trust myslef doing something like that without having someone who really knows what they are doing guiding me.

what about TRE?? Only like a 2 hour drive... Shep is a good 4 5 hours.. lil to far unless i mka ea trip out of it.

As far as I know, they won't touch ATs....
