Tranny Question

i was wondering if i could put a fwd tranny in a awd with out of course loosing the awd.... the reasoning is ### i have a 91 talon fwd tsi 5 speed that i seized the motor in (water pump broke going down the highway) and im buying a 94 talon tsi awd auto for 500 that needs a new tranny any way

damn, well i might fix the tranny thats in in ### it only has a cracked tranny pan, and the car is from florida so i has no rust or anything besides a dent in the fender and hood but only has 106,000 miles (is there a tranny pan on my 5speed 91 i could put on the auto)

no it wont. save up and get it done right dont half ass it. do it right the frist time and be done with it.

5 speed transmissions do not have a pan. If all it has is a cracked pan, then the transmission is still good. No need to replace it. Just replace the pan.

you just gotta make sure you the tranny gets put in right

alright i will just go to the junk yard then, but do u guys think its a good buy for 500?
