Okay, 95 eclipse gs 420a automatic 160k, im not posetive but i think the tranny is going. the cars fine when its cold. but after its warm up it makes a wierd squeling noise( while driving only) sounds like the left side. it takes a few seconds to pop into reverse after warmed up. after you put it into drive it will go, but it will make the squeling noise and it jumps gears. So what im wondering, TRANNY CV joint or tranny computer?

Could be any of those things inspect the cv joints are you getting a code for your computer, last thing transmission if in doubt have a shop look at it if your not sure, we can only guess or assume whats wrong.

I know for sure my drivers side cv joint is bad. its been cracking for awhile, i just havent had money to get a new one

Could possibly be a wheel bearing or something similar. Jack up the front of the car and spin the wheels by hand. Try in Park, Drive, Neutral, and Reverse (not sure if it will even engage gears for reverse and drive with engine off, but won't hurt to try). That should give you a better idea of where the noise is coming from.
