My Talon will only run with the TPS unplugged and when it does crank it surges between 500-1000 rpm's and runs like crap. I have already replaced The IAC, CAS, and I think it is the TPS or the ECU. what do you guys think?

I replaced the ECU and TPS and its still doing the same thing. I'm trying the coolant temperature sensor, can I unplug it and start the car that way?

-Why don't you run an OBD scan and see what kind of codes you are throwing? You may also want to check the conditions of your camshaft and crankshaft position sensors. When they go, these motors either wont OR will run like shit! If you dont know where to get your hands on a scanner, Autozone and Advance Auto will let you run a free diagnosis! Good luck to you!

Something new: Replaced TPS sensor and still no start. I unplug the Tps and it starts, but runs like crap. I shut the car off, plug in the TPs and the car starts right up and runs good. The A/f gauge was reading 14.5 and slowly moved down to 11 and taking fuel out is not changing the numbers. All the sensors on the car except the
Coolant temperature sensor have been replaced.

Ordered another ECU because I'm not sure the one I got from pullapart was good.

When my temperature sensor was shot, the only difference I noticed was that the regular cooling fan would not kick on during hot temperatures. Sounds like something different! Don't second guess yourself, RUN AN OBD TEST!

When I unplugged the map sensor the car died. No codes are coming up and its been like that since I got the car.
