TPS pricing

I wouldn't waste too much energy on the TPS. Those things are super sturdy and almost never die on a DSM. I'd look into things like coolant temp sensor, o2 sensor, fuel pump. Any check engine lights?
No check engine. Man I knew what I was getting into with a DSM but I am a little out of my depth coming from Toyotas and Subaru sedans!...Maybe need to get it inspected...

I would start with atleast a cheap scan tool ($50)at Walmart or something so you can see what most of the sensors are reading. They don't always throw a cel if something is wrong. Honestly dsms are not that bad. They're just old it comes with the territory.

Oh man thanks pauleyman. Appreciate the help and yes I really do need a Haynes or chitons
I wouldn't. Factory manual. There are online versions but for me nothing beats paper for the year you have.

And one more time.....we are in a thread about the price of a tps. Can we please start a new thread outlining your problem fully. If you dont have a profile please create one so we know what all you have.
