I have a 96 Silver RS that I love, but still, it's an RS! I bought a turbo for it, but its a total custom job and i haven't got all the parts for it yet. I am currently looking at a 98 Silver GST, with power everything (minus power driver seat), moonroof, all leather interior (black on gray). The car is from down south so it has no rust, 90,000 miles on it, and is a standard, with chrome factory rims. He is asking 7,400 or best offer. It only blue books for 6,795 in EXCELLENT condition, which I never consider any used car in excellenet condition. What do you think the car is worth?( I'm thinking about offering him ne where from 5,500 to 6 in cash if I can get it) Ne one have ne ideas also on how to get the cash so i can sell my 96, because this guy is leaving the country in a month and needs to sell it before then?

And also if ne one is interested in a Silver 96 RS with factory blue interior with aftermarket white two-tone, 85,000 original miles, 5 spd, awesome cosmetic condition and awesome mechanically. Never had one problem with this car AT ALL. 2nd owner. If so please email me at [email protected]

you would be hard pressed to find a 98 turbo eclipse for less than that with under 100k miles, if he wants 7400 for it i doubt that he would drop $1400+ you should try to offer about $6800 and negotiate from there. or go looking for another car. but dont try to low ball

if he lists an asking price OBO, chances are he doesn't think he's going to get that much for it. just give him an offer and see if he takes it.

as far as getting $5500-6000 cash, unless you have it sitting in the bank you're on your own. the lure about offering cash is that the buyer has the impression that you can buy the car basically right away. I'm not sure how you can offer him that much in cash if you don't have it in the first place.
