Hi Everyone!
I just finished checking the bore size, roundness, and taper on my 4G63 N/A block. I know machining a 4G63 you need a torque plate. Do you need to use a toque plate while checking the bore size and taper? Just though about it when I finally sat down to look at the numbers. Any input would be appreciated.

I recommend it. Take measurements without it and with it and I think you’ll understand.
Thanks! I have one on the way. Curious to see the difference.
