What are any and all tools that i will be needing to mod a 95 eclipse gsx? intake,exhaust,boost control,turbo timer, gauges etc

Knowledge is your biggest and most important tool. The way you ask that ? gives me the impression that you kinda have alot to learn. Please don't take offense. If you read up you will learn everything you need.

Intake = Screwdriver
Exhaust = Welder
Boost controller = Scissors and Zip ties (MBC)
Turbo Timer = Electric tape and wire cutters/strippers
Gauges will vary.

Just do searches to learn how to do certain things also read the VFAQ that will show you everything you need to know and all the tools. Welcome to Tuners :thumb:

wow that sounds exactly like my garage!!
i literally chucked a exacto knife 100 feet the other day!
freakin' thing broke and snapped in half at the worst damn time!

oh ya, get a jack, and a GOOD set of stands!
dont cheap out, and never trust your life to a jack, especially not the rusty ass one in your trunk

He means jackstands. When you have to lift the whole car (all four corners), jack up one corner, put the jackstand under the car (in the right place ;)), slowly lower the jack until the car is being held only by the jackstand, and repeat for the other 3 corners. If you only have to lift the front (for an oil change, etc) then just do it for the front two. Whenever working under a car, ALWAYS use jackstands. That way, if the jack fails (trust me its common with cheap jacks, ive seen one fail, luckily he had jackstands), the car won't fall and kill you/damage the car. BTW you only need one jack, you could probably get away with using the tire jack to initially lift the car, hell if its good enough to support the car long enough to change a tire, then im sure its good enough to support the car for 5-10 seconds while you put the jackstand under!

Make sure you stock up on left handed drill bits and blinker fluid too...LOL. Just kidding w/ ya bro. Welcome to Tuners. The only real tool you need is patience.

The other guys have said it pretty well, you are going to need service manuals for your car or a Haynes manual. One of the best places for info, besides this site is www.vfaq.com . Go ahead and put that in your favorites right now, you will need it. I know I have.

Good luck with your car. If I can help you I will, so don't be afraid to ask.
