Im just had my motor put in but, now the guy says it is dumping too much fuel into the cylnders. Now the guy that built my motor says it is the injector pulse width. Mitsubishi says that can not be tuned. The motor is 7 bolt, forged internals, built head 2.0 . What can I do? I need my car back.

Well the other day I took the coil off and replaced it , but still no start. Does it need to be put back and grounded by those screws or what? I guess im going to try the transistor tomarrow.

1. Yes, the coil pack does have to be grounded. That is handled by bolting it to the intake manifold, which has its own ground strap as mentioned earlier.

2. This is why you run tests on the parts instead of just buying new ones. There are methods for testing both the coil pack and the transistor with an ohm meter outlined in Haynes, Chiltons and the factory manual. Testing saves time and money :thumb:
