Tons of smoke need help

Can you be more specific? Is it smoking at idle? While you're on the gas/off the gas? In/Out of boost?

Also curious as to what you mean by "new" head. Was it completely rebuilt or what....

Well it seems like your going to have to do a turbo tear down, or engine to see where the smoke is coming from.

You may be okay. If everything was done properly, it should clear up the more and more you drive it. The new head is still in the break in period.

How long, some smoke at first is ok but it should stop, tonnes of white smoke doesnt sound good, ive had just about every engine problem except for crank walk, smoke sounds turbo, valve seals, rings, check your pcv valve.

He said the previous owner had it on the dyno for 40 minutes, and the op just installed it. I've heard of times where it would stop after 100-200 miles of driving.

Hopefully the previous owner didn't do any damage when he had it on the dyno.

Blue smoke = oil if I remember correctly. This is typically a bad seal in the turbo or valve seals. Do a compression/leakdown test first as it requires the least amount of work and can narrow down your issue to engine or turbo.
