Yesterday, i took the car for a drive, and i stepped on it, i noticed that when i did, a very big puddle of smoke came out, it was gray/white. I thought, i melted a piston, because this has happened to me before, but i parked the car, and i noticed my oil was very low, this makes sense, since i did an oil cooler job and i didn't check my oil level after doing so. I said, o well, i blew the engine again, but i went to the store and added 2 full quarts of oil, i even think i added more than i was supposed to, because now its past the dipstick MAX. After i added, the oil, i stepped on it again, and once again a whole bunch of smoke came out of the exhaust, i noticed some oil around the turbo housing, and also some on my tailpipe, the car still idled fine, so i thought maybe it was the rings. I came home, and i started checking things, i then noticed, i had a little rubber plug, plugged to the valve cover, where usually a catch can is connected (or when stock, a hose that goes to the intake). I plugged this little hole days earlier in an attempt to stop some air leaking while doing a boost leak test, i took out this little rubber plug, and took it out again for a drive, all of the sudden, the car didn't smoke anymore and it pulled fine, just like before. Now, besides, engine/internal damage that i can figure out/fix on my own, i wanted to know, if there's adverse effects by plugging this little valve cover hole. I assume, that air could not escape, through the valve cover, caussing excessive crankcase pressure, making oil going past the rings and being burned. What do you think? Thanks.
