Alright, guys and gals. Up on my mind is the fidanza black adjustable cam gears. Should I go ahead and get them, or should I wait till I get my cams, which I am still debating on as well.

I know I will eventually get them, but should i go ahead and get them while there 190, or just wait.

Also I really like the black ones since everything under my hood is black.

Some one help me decide.

Well if you want them get them now, when there gone or the price isnt low youll miss out, it just depends on what you want to do,after all its your car and money.

That is really your decision as it's your money. You would only need them once you get your new cams and honeslty, they aren't really needed unless you are trying to get every last drop of power out of the cam. A good cam should be degreed pretty good so it would only be minor adjustments if any and you also need to know how or know someone that can degree cams.

I rarely see after market cams on our engines, for me they really arent needed, i leanred a lot of what to buy for my car and what not to. Id rather spend my money on more important items, like eliminating knock, and keeping her on the road.

There are definitely better items to buy than cam gears, especially for our cars. Even though they do look amazing, the gains don't outweigh the other options. By looking at your profile, I'd save up for link.

If they are the ones you want... in the color you want..... you have not ordered them yet?

Hmm, true on saving the money for other things. And I already have the link, just have not updated my profile. Guess I will update that after this.

Things I really need would be driveshaft from DSS. Built axles. Carrier bearing. Built transfer case. Built rear end.

Thanks guys for your inputs. Although I have a bad habit of buying things cause they look pretty and shiny.

Then you my friend must be a raccoon ROFL but in all seriousness I would do the mentioned parts before the bling gears

Why do you need those parts???

Are you building a strictly track car??

Yes and no. Some of the reasons would be for the track. My main reason for the built drivetrain is so i can make it through pinks all out on april 24 in NC. i would hate to break and shatter things while running. Another reason is because I have broke many axles and tranny's while at the track mainly within the first 60 feet. Another reason is because I plan on road racing the car. Then my last reason can not be spoken on here due to the forums policies.

Raccoons are scary. Specially when you and your friends have been drinking all night and you wake up on the couch to see one staring at you on the coffee table. I sobered up pretty fast and don't think I have ever been back to his house. Sometimes I wish I didn't live in KY
