Dip it and use the glossifier or whatever its called. Youd be surprised how well it will come out.

I had a 2007 corvette dip, 2009 audi s5 and my current 09 c63 benz. I have never had a problem with it taking paint off. start out light coats then heavy coats and you be fine.

Plastidip also has a special gloss cover spray you can use on top of the plasti dip itself. It looks pretty good and could be a decent cover-up instead of having a crappy paint job. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfNZiOtV9ec]Gloss Charcoal (Dark Grey) Plasti Dipped S4 - YouTube[/ame]

I think the gallon comes off better then the arisol cans. My friends opened up a dipping company and they areadly did like 6 cars in two weeks. One guy didn't like the color he picked and took it all off, You can't even tell it was every dipped. (haven't looked super super closely, but definately didn't see anything in the cracks or anything)

Plastidip is awesome. If I had access to some I would have dipped my Evo by now.

A couple fast ways to remove plastidip.

1. Use SEM solvent #38373. I heard on the evo forums that it reduces the plastidip to dirty water. Then its easy to wipe off.

2. Use 3M adhesive remover. Its not as good as the solvent but it does have an effect.

3. Use an eraser wheel. You can get eraser wheels at the auto body supply shops. Attach it to a low speed drill and it will remove the plastidip by erasing it away. Also good for de-badging and adhesive removal.

Vinyl is upwards of 2k for a car. You heard right.

Dip...looks like dip. It's for beaters and ricing out wheels. If your paint has reached beater status, however, you get a pass. ;)
