i m doing the timing belt for the first time. i'm going to change the auto tensoner, tensioner pulley and idle pulley. is there any special way to install the new pulleys cause the vfaq and haynes manual dont say any thing about when replacing them. since im replacing the tensioner, the special tool shouldn't be needed right? oh and i dont have the pulley tools eather.

best advice is to get a haynes manual,it will tell you everything and yes you will need thoes special tools if you are a first timer.if you have done engine work before then it will be easy just follow the steps.:thumb:
