Im building a 4g64 bottom end that will have a 2g head on it, and for some reason i cant remeber or find what timing covers ill need to use. Obviously the 2g upper cover but unsure of the rest. thank you for the help!

Basically you will use everything from the 4g63, but since the 4g64 is taller block, the top screws dont match up well. I zip tied the top ones on my g4cs, had no worries.

Another perfect option is to find the covers off a 94 galant GS, which will be difficult since they are kind of rare.

Ok reviving a thread, but for a good reason.
You use the 4g63 timing cover on the 4g64 block and it fits other than a gap between it and the upper due to it being a taller block.
Does this mean a 4g64 timing cover will fit a 4g63? If so the 6 or 7 bolt?
I have a 2g with a 6 bolt swap. i THINK I located two of the 3 lower tins, and lower cover is not to be found, even in old busted shape. I need to at leadt have thw timing marks part of it, i could care less about anything above that.

Rix racing sells a 3D printed timing mark cover thingy.
