Timing belt Tensioner

I had my timing belt redone about two months ago. Now I am replacing to the Head Gasket I took tension off the belt and pulled the belt off. This leads me to my question when replacing the timing belt do you have to replace the tensioner. Please remeber the tensioner is ONLY 2 months old?

It should be alright to reuse. You'll have to put it in a vise or something though to compress it down again. Once it's compressed, put a small allen key or something through the hole.

When you compress it make sure to do so very slowly or you ruin it.
