Timing Belt Snapped, Rebuilding Engine Input

Hey everyone, well my belt just snapped. I might have bent valves and damaged pistons. I am kinda releived because I can stop procrastinating and finally rebuild my engine. Which had low compression in Cylinder 1 and @180 in the others. It had an oil leak (I think its the head, maybe need to trim that one headbolt). Anyways I was looking on HowellAutomotives and CI, and wasnt sure how I should go about this. I tell you guys what I want/have in mind, and you guys can tell me what I could get/setup.

On a budget!
Plan to go turbo (was actually in middle of pieceing together kit)
Daily Driver, only gonna run about @10psi
Perhaps bigger displacement

I am open to any part suggestions (pistons, rods, crank, valvetrain, misc parts..ect)

Be sure you're ready to turbo it shortly after the build. It won't be much fun cruising around N/A with that new compression.

Ahh good thing you mentioned that, how bad would it be to run on turbo compression ? Also, would it be a good idea to get my cylinders bored out to accomdate bigger pistons?

You wont know whether or not the cylinders need to be bored out until you have the motor apart and the cylinder "miked" for out of round or taper. Once you know if they are in spec or not then you can go about ordering pistions. If you must bore the motor you will not be able to actually bore it till you have the correct pistons ordered. The machine shop will need the pistons to accuratly bore the block to meet the required piston to cylinder wall clearance.

When you change pistons you will also need the rotating assy balanced too.
