timing belt lose spot

I've put a post up about this before and I timed my car the way that everyone tells me to. For some reason i get it perfect and I start it drive and shut it off there becomes I lose spot next to the idler pulley

sounds like the tensioner pulley isn't tensioned well enough, that's what's happened to me
when you time it, turn the motor over by hand at least 5-6 times and see if it's kept tension before you pull the tensioner pin.

I think what the moderator is asking in the pic is where are you finding the loose tension exactly?

Some slack in the belt after you stop the car for a while is normal, due to he hydraulic tensioner. We need to see pics of the belt to see if yours looks normal or not.

It's on the other side under the intake cam where the idler is

If the protrusion of the hydraulic tensioner is correct, the job is done correctly.
