Ticking from head. Clutch problem. wtf

I am inside the car right now and it is off. I can push the clutch pedal down all the way to the floor and it sticks. theres really no resistance in the pedal either. then I have to pull the pedal back. there is a little more resistance and it comes back up.. but I can wait about 5 or 6 minutes and it will go back to being nothing again. I can start the car up and the clutch engages all the way it doesn't slip or anything and it drives fine but there is still no resistance in the clutch until about halfway. I'm not sure why but it worries me a little. there is also a ticking in my head coming from the lifters. but ill research that on the other threads.

Did you check if theres fluid in the master cylinder or not? It could be low.

yep the fluid is as high as the limit specifies

When you push the pedal down and it comes back up, can you lift it a little more with your hand after u take your foot off? If so, the clutch pedal assembly could be worn out. The slave could be worn out. When you push in the clutch have someone look at the slave cylinder and see how much its pushing the clutch fork. If its not moving it enough to disengage the clutch it could be worn out
