Ha i just got a ticket for loud exhaust maybe an hour ago, he said it was too loud and the loudest it can be is stock only. mine was only 85bucks though.

that's nothing, my bro got a ticket for a "over sized exhaust tip" on his supra. he has a hks dragger exhaust with a 6.5" tip. that was hilarious

Fight it, whats the worst that can happen? you have to pay the $160? They cant raise it...
I have a 3" Open, No cat, No res, No mufler, Never been bothers. Been pulled a few times.
Nothing about the exhaust.

Even if you get the ticket dropped you still have to pay court costs. If you lose your case and pay the ticket you STILL have to pay the court costs.

The last time I got pulled over was for driving while black. WTF The cop said I fit a description of a black male fleeing a shooting driving a Red Eagle Talon just like the one I had. If I were running away then my external dump tube would have been heard and they would have never even seen me.

I received multiple exhaust tickets in Virginia Beach many years ago. I got one that said "Unapproved Exhaust" and another that said "Defective Exhaust". They both had different codes also. After I swapped in my turbo engine, 3" Edelbrock, CAT, resonator, and painted my muffler black I never got harrassed by the law. Most people dont even notice my flat black muffler with an outlet the size of a bus's.
