My buddy and I topped his mom's Neon out at 122mph. Then we tried it again, and only hit 118mph. :(

All driving was done on a closed course.

I hit about 150 in my buddy's Cadillac STS. Then I pushed the button and changed it back to mph :D .

My goal in life is to go to Bonneville and break 200 in a car...

Same ^^^

What I find intresting is how you get that fast in a DSM. Honestly I only see two possible ways to approche it. Raise the rev limit, or regear it. I dont know of any streetable ways to regear it. So all I know to do is rasise the rev limit.

BTW I topped out my first 90 TSI bone stock EXCEPT K&N @ 14psi going slightly downhill at 148ish. Also it had near 200,000 miles on the engine, and it tuck it all day to get to that speed.

that doesn't make any sense, they are dozens of other cars that can do 180+mph like Ferrari's, and Mercedes. im sure some rich german has gotten a speeding ticket for more that that if not once its probibly happend hundreads of times

I remember i went 135mph in my GSX first week i got it with bald tires and the front end was held on by duct tape :)

yeah i was thinking the same too.

oh and one of out local guys was doing triple digits above 130 and heard a scraping sound after a bit. got home and his whole lower part of his 2gB front was basically sanded clean off. i dont know how he did it, must have had 0 support anywhere but at the fenders and hood points, so it just bowed and flexed under the stresses and sent the bumper into the road and shaved it clean.
