Tial 44mm Vband Wastegate question??

I have one of these on my FP3065 set up, I am also venting to the atmosphere.

Now my question is about the wastegate. My Car always sounds like it has an exhaust leak. It is coming from the dump tube from the wastegate. So I take it off, and notice that there is a .5mm gap around the valve and the wastegate body. That is where the sound is escaping from.

So my question is, is that gap normal on Tial wastegates?

This is way off topic but how do you like the fp3065. Sorry I don't have a tial wastegate

So are you saying that the valve within the wastegate isn't sealing with the walls of the wastegate. It should be touching the wall of the wastegate. I have the FP3052 with the tial 44 and it dosen't make that sound at all until it opens for dumping.

Yeah it deffinatly should be sealed completely, i would say call them up if you just recently put it on. If you have had it for a while i would take it apart and see why its not sealing. You can buy replacement parts for the Wastegate if something is wrong with it.
