ok idk if its my tps or my throttle cable that is sticking? i took the TB off cleaned it the other day then put it back on and it had a high idle so i took it off agian ohmed the tps put it on right and still idled high then adjusted my BISS and the car idled fine however when i push on the throttle in the car a little bit the car sticks at a higher idle then i redline it and let off then it goes back down to good idle WTF? i even adjusted the springs on the TB and it closes all the way when off the car.

I had a similar problem after installing new turbo. After I took my foot off the gas the engine would stay at whatever rpm it was at before releasing the gas. It wasn't my throttle cable--I could see that it was running freely. I started replacing the vaccuum hoses and the problem was solved. Good luck.

When you open the butterfly is there a black ring where it sits when it's closed? It would stick when you would be between gears, or when you would first start it. I had to buff that shit out.

it sticks when i rev it just sitting in nuetral and when i shift in between gears. when i cleaned my throttle body it had a thick ring but it is gone now. when i took it off the butterfly snaped back all the way. but when i have it on the car i can move the throttle cable and spring thing back just a little bit and the idle goes back down.

When you cleaned the TB did you remove the throttle plate from inside the TB itself? Did you use thicker TB gaskets when you reinstalled it?

Try loosening the throttle cable a bit. Spray a bit of WD40 on the linkage.

wow ok i just tried adjusting the idle switch agian and disconnected the battery plugged the battery back in and it works great just gotta fix the idle and its just sticking a little bit when i push on the pedal its stiff then it releases and gets soft. but other then that its working good :)
