Throttle Body Problem??

Whenever I hit the pedal to the floor it builds up slowly, when it hits roughly 2500 rpm it takes off like it should. This cant be a throttle cable problem or plate. Which sensor(the WOT?) or other explanation could it be?

His problem is turbo lag Jokes aside, more info would be great.

Heres what I also forgot to mention. Even if I don't gun it and drive at moderate speeds it reacts the same way, there would have to be a set time for turbo lag, it would have already spooled up. I just replaced the old 13g for a 14b and its reacting the same way, in fact it doesn't "lag" as much with the turbo swap but the fact is that it still exists. No boost leaks and spools up normal while the issue is taking hand.

Sounds like it could be a couple things. Is it sputtering? If so try plugs and wires, also how did you do the boost leak test?

I changed the spark plugs before and after this started happening, I have a homemade boost leak tester with a gauge on it and uses compressed air. If anything it might be the fuel injectors. It started to happen after I changed the o2 sensor because the other one have me the p0170 code. now thats gone but I'm having this issue.
