Thread size? Shifter cables

This is what came on a pair of used shifter cables i just aquired. They are missing one of these screw type eye-bolts that connect the cables to the shifter. Im Looking to create my own version of this eye-bolt but im not sure of the thread size. I dont know which year car these cables came from because the ones i pulled out of my 98 did not have this, they had a solid rod.

What you need to do is find a reputable hardware store, not a chain or big box store, an independent one is usually best and they can help you with your fastener needs.

m6x1.0, one end is right-hand thread, and the other is left-hand.

oh left hand thread ! Duh when i tried to fit an m6 bolt in it it was so close but just spun an never grabbed WTF
