So I finally installed my tranny on my 1g put everything together but I can't seem to get the shifter cables on right. I used to have a Honda so I'm used to the steel shift linkage but my dam has this fly by wire shifter cables. I thought I put them on but when I try to go throught the gears it just feels like it's in neutral, not in any gear. Can someone help me with my issue. Is there a certain procedure when connecting the shifter cables? Thanks for any advice or input

Did you adjust them in the cabin i have one set that i can adjust and the other i cant from a 91 to 92. Do you have the correct cables for your car and the correct bracket on the transmission for your car?

Yea they're the stock 92 early cables. Yea all brackets hooked up and bolted down, but still feels flimsy when I move the shifter around like it's not engaging in any gear
