I"ll try not to flame you, but OF COURSE it's affecting your performance, your spinning your poor brand new turbo to death. Boost leaks make the turbo work harder, car run richer and spool slower. Plug that hole ASAP.

I, perhaps, should have replaced 'performance' with 'knock count'.
I DO realize it is spinning like a mofo. ;)
 
Good lord, Kris, at least put a dab of silicone seal on it for now. If you put it onto a clean surface, straight out of the tube (least air contact possible), it'd last at least a decade yet still be removable for when you have it really fixed. Give it a full 24 hours to cure.

And anyone pressing their snoot close enough to razz you about it would be aligned perfectly for a patoot-boot.
 
THe silicon may be my project for this weekend...I hate our engine bays. I was basically just waiting for my clutch install to tap it and put a screw in it.
