Well I just bought a 2003 Evo VIII About 6 months ago and i love the car. In fact its one of my top 10 dream cars, but I have to say for the $15,000 i spent i would think i would get alil more then what i got. Ive put about $2,500 in the car already but Im thinking i would have got a better bang for my buck if i would have got a 2G GSX. I have owned a 95 GST before i bought my Evo and i loved the car as well and i would think a GSX would feel just about the same as the GST did all but the fact that its all wheel drive. I just dont see what all the big fuss is about with the Evo. I mean yea they look great and drive nice and every where i go someone always stopes and talks to me about it, but i mean for real, i dont like the wing one the back, i thought i would like the 4 door idea but i dont have a family so whats the point. The seats are not the best, i like the way the elcipse seats feel over the recaro racing seats in the evo. The insurance is crazy $$$. All in all im thinking about selling it and going back with the DSMs. What are your thoughts about the matter? Im open to all good or bad feedback on the matter. Thanks guys...:thumb:

Thats a hot GSX, but i have to agree keep the Evo all around better platfrom, not to mention newer, and should require less maintance than any 1g or 2g, yea i understand that the insurance is exspensive hell i have a non turbo and it exspensive for me but atleast evey other month you dont have to smack your forehead and say ok babe what wrong with you today! Lol.

I think id rather have the evo, but if your crunched for money and want to have something to quick and something you can mod and work on for cheaper I would get a DSM.

Or be like me I own an 03 evo FULLY BUILT 2.4 block, tranny, t-case, exedy tripple clutch the works it makes me mad alot but no matter what i dont think i could sell it so i bought a cheap 1ga tsi talon for 600 bucks and rebuilt the cyl head and now i have the best of both worlds!

I personally like the evo IX looks better than the evo VIII

But push comes to shove I would take the evo for all the reason mentioned above newer car
better platform and wont make random new noises every day
